Nullamore is a centre of education which complements the personal formation young people receive at home and at school.
Several teachers of Rockbrook help out in the running of activities in Nullamore or in some of the educational and formation programmes being run in the centre.
Throughout the school year, and during the summer, its variety of activities caters for school boys aged 9-18 who are keen to develop their intellectual, spiritual, cultural and sporting abilities. Such activities include spiritual retreats, leadership workshops, study and homework programmes, learning to play musical instruments, robotics, stop-motion animation, arts and crafts, and a wide variety of sports: soccer, basketball, tennis, orienteering, table-tennis, volleyball, golf, etc.
Its informal atmosphere helps participants cultivate their talents and use their freedom to develop their character and grow in virtue.
Responsibility for spiritual and doctrinal formation given in Nullamore is entrusted to Opus Dei. At times, Nullamore hosts school day-retreats for Rockbrook. Nullamore is affliated to City of Dublin Youth Services Board (CDYSB).
