Rockbrook Students Raise €2000 for Kenya
Well done to all the Rockbrook students who raised €2000 for the Local Lives Foundation, which will be used to
purchase textbooks for rural schools in the Meru District of Kenya. Students from all years, and from all four
Clanns, were involved in the project, raising the money through 'Name Tag' sponsorship cards which invited family
and friends to buy a book for Kenya for €5. The Local Lives Foundation, an Irish charity, was very grateful for
the donation from the students, as it will mean more children in the poorer parts of Kenya get a chance to further
their education. Well done to all the students who gave generously of their time to make this venture a success.
