Our famous Dangerous Camps for Boys! are running this summer – July 2024!
Amazing opportunities to truly experience the great outdoors in a super fun way!
Dates
There will be three weeks of camps this summer (starting on Mon July 1st 2024). Boys can book into multiple camps.
These summer camps are for boys currently in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th class. (Boys currently in 6th class are not eligible).
- Camp 1: July 1-5
- Camp 2: July 8-12
- Camp 3: July 15-19

Cost
€125 for one week (second and subsequent camps €110; brothers €110).

- Advance payment is required (payment is made when booking).
- Only a boy’s parent or guardian can book him into a camp.
Helpful guide for booking and paying for camps
Payment for the camps is done through EasyPayments.
Step 1 — Log into (or register with) EasyPayments
Click on the BOOK CAMP NOW button above.
If you already have an EasyPayments account, click Yes and log in. If you do not have an EasyPayments account already, click No, then enter your details and click Register.
Type ‘Rockbrook’ and click Search. ‘Rockbrook Park School – Camps’ will be listed as the organisation you should pay; click Select.
Step 2 — Parent/guardian details
You will be brought to a screen whereby you complete registration for the person making the payment to Rockbrook; complete the form and click Register.
Step 3 — Details of boy(s) on camp
On the next screen, under ‘Add new names’ select Camper from the dropdown list.
Enter the boy’s details and click Add.
If only one boy is being booked in, click Proceed to Item List. If a brother of the first boy needs to be registered also, do this now by clicking Add New Names. Once you are happy with the names registered, click Proceed to Item List.
Step 4 — Choosing camps
You will see a list of the camps.
Choose a camp to book and click Add to Bill.
Now select the name of boy you are booking into that camp. You can only book one boy into one camp at a time. (See paragraph below for multiple/brother bookings).
To book this boy into a second or subsequent camp, or to book his brother into a camp, click on Add More Items. This brings you back to the list of camps, where you can choose a camp and in the following screen choose the boy being booked into it. Continue returning to this list until you have chosen all the camps you wish to book.
Step 5 — Making payment
When you have finished choosing camps, click Proceed to Payment.
Helpful Hints & Camp Information
Camps run from Monday-Friday 9am-2pm. Drop off from 8.30am.
Individual activities are approximately 30-50 minutes each in duration. They include sports such as Le Cross, hockey, soccer, volleyball, footgolf, athletics, and dodgeball tag games. Other activities are man hunt, duck race, obstacle course, mud run, tug of war, treasure hunt and orienteering.
Monday activities are on campus all day. Over the course of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday everyone will get opportunities to go off site for shelter building and hiking for a part of the day.
Water based activities may also take place in the course of the week.
All activities are outdoors no matter what the weather, so please bring additional clothing. Attendees are required to bring a full change of clothes, runners and a towel (along with a plastic bag to put them in) each day.
Boys will need a packed lunch and refillable water bottle.
There is a small tuck shop on site selling drinks, fruit and other snacks.
