In accepting children into the school, the school will seek to identify the educational and training needs of the student. If the school considers that additional resources are required over and above those normally provided by the school, the school will request the Department of Education and Science to provide the resources to meet the needs of the child. It is understood that parents will fully co-operate in this process.
These resources may include: visiting or additional teaching services, a special needs assistant, specialised equipment or furniture, transport services.
The school also seeks to encourage more talented students to undertake additional challenges while in school.
On enrolment at the school, all parents are asked to provide any educational or other reports they may have which would be of help to staff in drawing up the education plan for students.
